Borderlands DRM? and someone in america to purchase and gift it to me

sup fellas, i want to get Borderlands, now that it's on sale, from what i can see it doesn't have third party DRM, however it's DLC does.
Is this true?
had anyone had any problems with it?

also I've got some money in my paypal account atm, but i want to get around the price gouge for aussies.... can someone buy it and gift it to me?

cancel that, apparently they added securom in a patch so it would work with the DLC thats got the bullshit attached to it.

no sale.
oh and fuck gearbox and it's publishers
