I'm sick of having to PM a supermod every time I want to let people know of a major change; it's annoying for both me and, I assume, them.

Really I'm not sure why you guys don't have this; double clicking next to a thread title pulls up an edit box, as if this was in place eariler, but it doesn't do anything (and you can pull it up for everyone's threads)

i also support this, but with an icon or something that lets you know the title has been changed. i spend enough time trying to find threads as it is

Infract the abusers. Let them know who's boss.

It's not even a vB option. You would be allowed to if it wasn't removed by Jelsoft.

Users can edit their thread titles for a certain amount of time after they create it. Just go to the thread list and double click to the right of your thread name. This actually works indefinitely and on any threads but once the time elapses (or if you don't have permissions to change the title of some other thread) the changes aren't applied.

The functionality is there jcap, make it better.

Thanks Freelancer for letting me know that users could still edit it up to a certain amount of time.

I was able to find an answer:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?295381-thread-prefixes-and-time-limit-for-title-editing

So, without actually modifying any code, I'm just going to increase it to its max.

It's now set at 1E+40 minutes.
