so i woke up in the hospital the other night.. well, morning.

its the gash i got on the back of my head... apparently i fell into a bush or through a bush and onto a porch, dunno for sure.

id most likely be dead is it wasn't for my sister (i was knocked out for a good 3 hours and i was pumping out blood), who was walking with me and ran and knocked on what turned out to be an off duty cops house. (she sprained her ankle running up his porch so this guy had his plate full at 3 in the morning heh)

i guess he tried calling 911 a few times and they didn't answer :| so he had to call his police station and get them to call emergency services.

i wish i knew where he lived so i could go thank him, but i don't remember shit.

i got lucky this time.

ok so i finally got the story.

so me and my sister were walking and i was all drunk like not able to even stand... and for some reason i started running.

eventually i lost my balance and slammed into a bush and on the other side of the bush were bricks.... my head hit those.

she was about 3 or 4 houses away and she heard my head hit the shit... she immediately knew i hit my head and ran up, i was unconscious and gushing blood...

she said she ran to the guys house and knocked on his door, than ran back down to me and then ran back to the door and that's when she sprained her ankle.

the guy who answered was an off duty cop who not only tried to call 911 for me but was also trying to comfort my sister who was freaking out because i was starting to stop breathing... she said at one point i stopped completely for awhile.

so the off duty cop gets ahold of his buddies a bunch of squads show up and i get taken to the hospital while they take my sister home... all this while my dad is in the dark because an earlier phone call to my dad to try and explain things was cut short because of phone failure.

so i get taken to the hospital and my dad comes and picks up my sister and they drive to the hospital im at... meanwhile im still unconscious and have no idea whats going on.

after all is said and done i was knocked out for a few hours, got a bunch of stitches and my sister sprained her ankle trying to save my life.

it may not look like much, but that shit was pouring blood and i was out for the long haul... id be dead if i was alone.

fucking a i owe my sister....

You're lucky for two reasons:
1. No subdural hematoma. I've seen it happen to people with way less. Though I imagine the loss of blood kept the swelling down. Lucky? I think so.

Flip side experience...

My sister and I were walking from the car to the house... and she swung her backpack at my head... and had a padalock on her bag. The dial hit the top of my head, and started gushing hardcore.

head injuries bleed like no other.

My sister sent me to the hospital, had to get stitches and such too... I didn't pass out or anything though.. I don't think.

i went and got the stitches out yesterday.... doc tugged on them and it kinda hurt but meh.
glad to have them out.. now i can wash my hair normally.

my sister also went to get to get her foot looked at, its pretty bad. she has to go see a specialist now because its fucked up.

how messed up is that, she gets hurt worse than me for trying to save me :\
