They're telling people west of Broadway, less than two miles from where I live, to prepare to evacuate.
God dammit, I swear, if my house burns down less than a month after I bought it, I am going to go on a fucking rampage.

That doesn't do much when the winds are pushing the fire at you hard. Hope you have some highways between the fire and you :-3

Soaking your roof takes water pressure from firefighters and just evaporates quickly, and digging a trench may stop ground flames, but it's nothing to any timber etc that falls across it, not to mention, does nothing against embers.

Looks like the fire's under control now. Still, 170+ homes were destroyed. Sad day.
