Lets say I have an image like this:

(*Click on Image to see full-size.)
How would I fix that random dark square placed in the image? Since it's at an angle and the anti aliasing comes into play, selecting the darker pixels will be a bit harder. Is the any trick or way to fix this sort of thing?
Why? Just for personal reasons such as removing annoying watermarks from nice photos.
Any help would really be appreciated.

try to make the same rectangle, and overlay it to negate the darkness?
if you do it perfectly right, the anti-alias on your new square will match the ant-alias on the square beneath.
can't imagine this being a nerve-friendly method though.

Maybe he just wants to uncensor his hentai?
But yeah what neuro said basically. Just take your time.

Must be, thanks though neuro I guess I'll keep at it. I wasn't necessarily going for rectangles or any shape to be specific as watermarks are mostly text or a logo but I guess I'll just have to do it the hard way.

pen tool, plus shading/coloring, and clone stamp are your tickets to freedom friend. but those things take time. trust me, they take lots and lots of time.

took less than a minute. burn, dodge, sponge = greatest way to wipe away an overlaid watermark.

in general, try to do the exact same thing as the thing you're trying to remove, but in reverse, to reverse the effects.
