Designing a website for a pet shop which I had my snake from as they told me that their current website was buggy and the people who made it don't listen. The code side I can do, so that the shop can add new content and pets easily ect...

its just the dam design, i have got this below. But I feel like it looks a bit amateurish and it has got sort of a professional look at the top but then a childish look where the fish are. I can't really decide if I should design it to be aimed at adults or teenagers and below. I might do adults as its much easier to create the graphics as I'm not that good at painting image sin Photoshop, such as my crappy fish.

Any ideas?

Get rid of the ugly fish, leave the blue gradient and it'll look fine IMO.

in the below, i will be a dick, please don't hold it against me.

If you're going to have koi and lilly pads in the background, leave them in the background. you're devoting the most precious space on the site to a picture of a (no offense) shitty looking fish. can't say i'm a big fan of that pin stripe header/footer either. i'd go for making some smaller, better looking koi, shift up you the info section to under the nav section, ditch the pinstripes, and lose the part where it says "Home" above the info.

It looks like English isn't your strong point here. You misspelled koi twice, and a lot of your wording leaves much to be desired. Try this, perhaps

Define a colour palette and stick to it, you have the perfect colours there, your design seems to try and take a collection of ideas and put them all into one site. It doesnt look right and doesnt look uniform.

I've started a quick design to show you perhaps the way you want it to go. If you want those fish in there okay, but fade them a bit, and hide part of them behind the content box, basically so they arent in FULL attention. I dont claim to be a web designer, this is just my opinion :)
