In a family capacity we got a 50" Samsung C8000 3D Plasma and a 40" Samsung C610 LCD to replace our two main tube-TV's. Got a Pioneer VSX-520 5.1 3D HDMI receiver to go with the C8000, prob going to look around for a home theater speaker system on boxing day.

Tonight I get a new 360 again with halo reach, and from what I got so far:
Bose Cinemate GS series 2 home theater speakers for my bedroom, Onkyo receiver 708, LED LG projector.
All going toward my bedroom since it is being redesigned for a home theater room for me and my brother. So I guess thats kinda a gift too. Oh and almost forgot, one HUGE picture of myself to put on my wall. Its like 24x36. Oh yea and a small star trek original series model that you have to paint and build. :)

My dad always give his girlfriend a pile of cash to go get us kids presents on Christmas.

This year she got my presents at the grocery store.

I got two boxes of Veggie burgers, two boxes of veggie chicken patties, three boxes of frozen dinners (which.. .two of which were expired) and I got a frozen pizza.

My sister gave me a Mario puzzle, and a friend gave me a calculator shaped like a game controller.

I also did a white elephant thing on my mom's side of the family... I got Chicken and Beef Ramen noodles, along with a "101 things to do with Ramen Noodles" book

After my dad saw how badly his girlfriend failed he gave me a check for the repairs I had to do to my truck, so that was awesome.

I spent my christmas at a hotel with some friends, went swimming, got drunk off my ass while bowling and playing pool, then played DDR and went on a ropes course (yay drunk) All in all christmas day was absolutely fantastic.

Oh, my christmas present is done microwaving. Gunna go eat now. bai.

E:/ Steam has been wonderful to me for christmas. I've bought way too much shit from the service, and will definitely be playing heaps of stuff over the next long while haha.

Yup freelancer! Running dual monitors on it for now, one serves as the primary for my PC as well as my 360, the other is a secondary for the PC. Also got my laptop on the desk too since there's room. Absolutely love the desk.

Hopped on a Futureshop deal and got a 21.5" Acer for $130 :D 1920x1080 res too. Now I can finally use my PS3 at school without having to wait for the common room TV to be vacant!

Also helping a friend get a Gateway NV59 with a core i3 2.4Ghz and a Radeon HD 5650 for $530 (note to Canadians - if you want a midrange gaming laptop without breaking the bank, Futureshop unbelievably has an excellent deal like this, normally you only see this at NCIX).

Finally got quite a few sub-$10 games off Steam, mostly indie ones that will take me forever to finish playing. Machinarium's almost done, now on to Zombie Driver...

As for gifts, I don't celebrate Christmas (and thus got nothing), but I certainly celebrate Boxing Day sales!

Unless you got the store warranty you're probably hooped. Most monitor/tv manufacturers require 5 dead pixels before they'll replace.
