Pretty damned crazy. Mother Nature is a cruel mistress at times.

ours isn't being abandoned by the bush administration.
Give us 6 months and she'll be back to normal.

New Orleans Australia
Unless New Orleans is the size of several US states, not really.

ours isn't being abandoned by the bush administration.
Give us 6 months and she'll be back to normal.
More like a year or two.

Well at least Aussies arent made up of a bunch of women-men that whine and complain when something happens. Something tells me your country will get to work the second the floods go away, not whine like little girls.

People cant just replace everything at the drop of a hat. we'll fix it however it will be off the kindness of strangers, donations and government help.

The people on the ground wont be able to dig out of a hole, so we'll throw the a ladder. theres no way we'll abandon these people to fix it themselves.

7 hours to peak tide in Brisbane, they're expecting it to be slightly below the 70's flood.
Also saying it'll take about 2 years to properly recover :toot:

And just over the ditch we have burning hot sun.
Kinda feel bad for enjoying my summer holidays while people are drowning in it :S
Prayers be with those stuck in it.

My bud in Brisbane says damages costs are about twice that of Katrina, that's before economic impact.
