Hi guys.
I upgraded the forums and starting going through fixing things that were broken. Obviously I haven't gotten to everything yet. I spent several hours trying to get things back online, but I'm taking a break now and turning the forums back on. Please let me know any issues you encounter in this thread.
Known problems so far:
Blogs
Computer Specs
Show Online Users on Forum Home
Style Issues
Please let me know if you encounter something not on this list.
Thanks!
Timo

Current users aren't showing up down the bottom of the forum index, attachments aren't working anymore.

Hmm... attachments, that's weird. What's wrong with them?

A few posts from about ten to twenty minutes before the upgrade began are missing.

Your username and the "My Profile" links at the top-right do the same thing. Remove the My Profile link since it's redundant.

Done.
I had it like this before, but I never stopped to think why I removed it in the first place.

I think that one got blown away because it was posted right around the time I started the backup. The attachment I put on my previous post seems to work fine, and other attachments I'm finding seem fine as well.
(Yes I left the forum running for about an hour during the backup process by accident before I turned it off, for those who may be missing a few things from this afternoon)

I don't know if this is an issue, but I just got a PM and it says its from 6 days ago. I am pretty sure I logged in like a day or 2 ago and nothing popped up saying I had one. Hmm.

This isnt an issue, more of a comment. Is it possible to get the RSS buttons to only appear on the box when you hover over them? Having 28 new icon showing on homepage is really annoying to me.

Fixed the shot tags. vBulletin is retarded as fuck so it was parsing the URL before the img.

Can we make the quick-reply and advanced text boxes bigger or resizeable?

You already can; just click these arrows at the top right of the text box: http://www.modacity.net/forums/styles/modacity/editor/resize_0.gifhttp://www.modacity.net/forums/styles/modacity/editor/resize_1.gif

Good luck with trying to make a better threadbit template. I couldn't seem to get it just right.

Is there a way to make the "see users online" appear on the index page again? I like to be able to tell whether I am making a relevant post or just barking into the dark of the internet.

So...you don't post unless there's someone else already viewing the thread :v:? Do you also check their last activity time to see if they're session isn't currently being ghosted ;x?

Honestly, what does this version of vB give you over the previous version, other than a headache?

If you now click at the top on "Forum Actions->Mark Forums Read" (which I use very often) it now warns you with a big message box that says "THIS ACTION CANNOT BE UNDONE!!11"...imagine if someone would click 2 menus by accident...and have all the new posts...marked as read :smith:

Like 1000 issue fixes or something terribly frightening like that. I'm not sure they've added much new stuff, however.

The only thing I truly recall being borked (other than the software itself  ) was the search feature vOv

Already listed in known problems. Still no idea why it's happening.
