Just like the Toronto g20 rioters didn't actually care about the g20, the people doing the damage don't give a shit about the game.

They just enjoy vandalism as much as pandas enjoy bamboo, and use the "we lost a game" as a shallow excuse to cover up their antics.

I was downtown at the time and actually got to see the carnage and it just made me facepalm that people like that have to exist in society. Good thing the riot police acted appropriately but some of the neighbors on the lowest floors of the apartment I was in got affected by tear gas wafting in. I was on the 30th floor so I was safe but it definitely was not pleasant for those on the 1st and 2nd. Pretty stupid shit.

sadly knowing the justice system any culprits arrested will get released in no time so they can fuck shit up again.
