Hey guys I modded a pc map using spark edit. I was running the server and was playing and i noticed when people quit their player did not die/quit.
Its such a strange error. They would join then quit and the player's body would not die until you kill it again. Anyway to fix this?
I know i probably explained this terrible so if you need more info let me know.

Hes saying that on his map when players disconnect, their "Player" thingy just stands there until it is killed instead of dieing and vanishing like its ment to.

I think it's when you copy/change weapons/item collections. one of those.
unfortunately you have to redo the map to fix it.

Spark Edit is terrible, use the HEK or die. Using Halo PC? It's terrible, switch to CE.

Stop playing on 1.04 and play on 1.09?
1.04 is the pirate version of Halo PC...

1.09 is wack if i put my server up on 1.09 pc no one will use it id rather put it some where. Where it is used rather than sit empty with hundreds of other servers.

Convince all those kids playing pirated versions to buy it for $20. It's really cheap and available everywhere online, maybe $25 with shipping.

It has to do with fall damage in the globals, you'll need to use HMT to fix it. Basically the game uses fall damage to kill someone when they quit, this use to happen back in the day when everyone was trying to get rid of fall damage for h2/3 mods.

You can always test the theory by jumping off a cliff, before going in and doing some serious tweaking. It's really not good to mess with the globals, but it seems you may already have.

lol some what. So if I change all the globals back to normal in theory it should fix the problem. When I get off work I'll test it out :)

see in theory it should work... but that's never the case. It's best to just get the original globals from someone.

nope the globals are the same...
Edit:Was not in globals it was in the "Damage" tag then under "falling". Changing everything back now ill report back and edit this within the hour and see.
Edit 2: good to go it worked. Thanks for you help guys.
