Hey all, most of what's going around right now is just rumor but any idea when these cards will be out? Some of you probably know that I'm looking to build a new gaming system in April 2012 when Intel releases Ivy Bridge/2011 socket. Because of that I'm already looking at options for some reason, it's kind of premature since everything that I've been looking at will likely change. Motherboard, CPU, GPU, and RAM will likely all be new by the time I get around to choosing actual parts and building.

That said, I'm trying to find out any and all information I can about the top-of-the-line cards from Nvidia and AMD right now. This is likely going to be my biggest decision, I'm looking to do 6000x1200 resolution (triple monitor) gaming at 60 FPS with settings cranked hopefully. If that means dual or triple GPU's in SLI/Crossfire then so-be-it since I'll be overclocking the shit out of this system due to the addition of water-cooling.

So yeah, post any information you find/think is interesting about the new GTX 600 and HD 7000 series cards here. I'll likely be going after the GTX 690 or HD 7990 or whatever they end up calling their dual-processor GPU's.

havnt heard much about i, but by going with the trends i'd say ATI will still be your best bet for multi screen gaming.

ATI eyeinfinity appears to be really ideal for multi screen games, even on a single card. Only inconvenience is the need for those silly Displayport adapters.

not trying to flame, but he didn't try to make himself out to be superior just because he has or can afford such hardware.

If he has the means to get these things, good for him.

Btw Freelancer, what's the length of your desk and room that allows you to fit all that stuff? It's going to be something I will consider in the future when buying/renting a home + furniture lol. I can grab three good monitors for under $400 before tax but I don't have a place to put them all. Alternatively I could use wall mounts but I don't think my landlord would be too pleased about the new holes...

the desk I currently have is pretty much stocked up now. The three 24" monitors take up the entire width even when the outermost ones are tilted inward like usual. My desk is approximately 1.6 meters wide by 0.8 meters deep.

I really want a corner desk setup but there's no where in the house I'd actually be able to set one up.
