Hey guys, after building my rig about a month ago, my 560TI has been acting up. After being on for a while, the drivers will just crash. Black screen and no more integrated audio. A couple seconds later it will come back saying that it recovered and blah blah blah. Afterwards, I cannot watch/listen to anything, as plugins like Shockwave/Flash and Silverlight just crash, and all audio ceases to work. I am using the newest drivers possible, but nothing has stopping this from happening... The only fix I have found is to restart my whole rig, which is a pain in the ass.

Any ideas?

e: Right after I posted this, I restarted my computer and it was hung up on 'explorer.exe playing logout sound'.

Roll back to the previous set of drivers you used. I assume you're using the BF3 drivers?

Indeed I am, I'll try the latest RC when I get home.

i have the same card and im having the same problem after updating my drivers.

do you use firefox? because i was noticing the black screen thing only happened when i was doing something in firefox. if thats the case for you, go to options, and in there, go to the advanced tab, and turn off hardware acceleration. i did that a little while ago and havent had an issue since.

a google search leads me to believe this periodically happens between new drivers for nvidea cards and firefox.

Thanks Donut, I'll try that. I am using Firefox, so hopefully this will clear it up. :)
