After about 20-40 minutes of playing graphically intensive games (battlefield 3, gta 4 enb, crysis) my pc will BSOD and give me the following error (taken from .dmp file)

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x0000000a fffff880`489a9c98 00000000`00000002 00000000`00000000 fffff800`03cc4099

I'm not quite sure whats causing it, and I've been unable to play battlefield 3 at all, tf2 and others work fine, however.

any help is appreciated.

Really, there shouldn't be anything in a game that gives an IRQ issue nowadays. Flight simulators with joysticks would have been the last bit. You wouldn't happen to be playing with a 360 controller would you? Either that or nearly every USB port filled?

edit: Change any hardware or mess with drivers lately?

No change with drivers, and I'm on a new install of windows, it happened before as well.

Could be faulty/worn out hardware.

But what would it be? I've tried taking out ram and changing graphics cards and reinstalling..?

I sometimes get IRQL's from overclocking the CPU incorrectly/under-volted/over-colted/etc... So it could be CPU?

Ooh, that might be the case, I'll check that.

I got an IRQL error about 2 weeks ago, followed by a MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error. Reinstalled video drivers and it's been working smoothly so far.

Got the IRQL one time playing Skyrim with a wired 360 controller
