Who else besides me, Arty and Plasbian picked this up? It's not exactly outstanding but I definitely enjoy it, particularly the environments. The different types of weapons are neat, and I honestly can't decide on which one is my absolute favorite. Although Faeblades are probably my most used, right next to Chakrams. I think what I find somewhat lackluster about it is the Generic fantasy settings and characters. Other than that its a really fun game.

It looks like a cross between Fable and Elder Scrolls.

In a Fable II way or a Fable III (aka terrible) way?

I played the Demo and it was actually really fun. Unfortunately, being a poor university student, I can't afford to pick up every game that interests me :(

I think I'm only level 12 right now but I'm enjoying it. I honestly don't think it can be compared to skyrim that much. It is more like fable. From my understanding, this game was originally going to be a MMO and I can feel it definitely. There's a SHIT TON of side quests to do and the developers have stated if you do a speed run involving all quests available, it would take 200 hours to complete everything. Theres a shit ton of side quests per zone that give a lot of exp to boost your level. Im actually finding it a little annoying I have this many quests at a time. As of right now I have about 40 side quests picked up and 2 main quests. Every new area I enter I see atleast another 4 to 5 to pick up right away. Now that Im going back to do some of them, its not as fun as ive outleveled all of the quest monsters.
Either way I love it. Im going pure might tree right now. I did a restat early on to gain the extra 2 points the tutorial throws into finesse and magic.

I'm doing a mix of Finesse and Magic putting a small amount into Might. Fuck I love Chakrams.

I don't know if this is real or not, or if i'm just imagining it, but do dungeons scale to your level? Ive gone back to the beginning areas to finish up side quests and anytime I enter the dungeon, the mobs are always at my level if not higher, even in beginning areas.
EDIT: Nvm.
Designer Will Miller has shed some light on how, exactly, enemies will level as you progress through the game's world. Basically, each area has a level range. When you enter a new area, the game locks enemies into a level within their range that is best suited for your level.
"When the player first enters one of those regions, we clamp all of the region's NPCs to the level of the player, provided he's within the range."
If you're one of those smarty pants' who thinks they can just run to the end like they did in Morrowind, you'll be dead pretty quickly. If you're below an area's level range, it will lock in at the lowest level and will, most likely, still destroy you. It sounds like a pretty sophisticated system. The game still scales enemy levels to a point, but as Miller says, "[they] intelligently decide what that level is.""
