help me fix broken text please and thank you

i can't see text chat in game whatsoever. when initially installing halo awhile back installed the "msxmlenu" program and it worked fine. today i'm trying to play but it's broken again. uninstalled msxmlenu and reinstalling doesnt work, nor repairing the install.

any ideas?

The readme for those strings say halo 1.04, and it gives corrupted halo.exe message whilst trying to use. if you have anything else throw it at me

i remember these files being relevant to halo text. could change colors and stuff with them. it's been so long since i've opened any of them though. one of these related maybe?

Are you running at an odd resolution?

1600x1200, then 800x600, both of which are in the default options. if it's worth noting when the gray bar where you type into appears i can't see anything being typed there either.

Look at this. You need to re-install msxmlenu.msi.

After that, should fix your problem! :D
