Modacity Reorganization

Looking at the topics we have now, we have several "repeats" basically and even some that are hardly used.

For example... Halo Universe, the Halo Reach topic section hasn't been used since September. The Halo 3 & ODST one hasn't been used since late October, and even then, it rarely seems to get used. And then for Halo 4, we just have some thread in the tech talk section. Perhaps modify this somehow to make it more... up to date?

The Gaming General Discussion section include General Modding, Valve Games, and Starcraft 2... These seem like weird sections, and more importantly the Starcraft 2 section rarely gets used from time to time. And even then, the next overall section we have is "General Gaming & Modding".... don't these seem to conflict a little bit? My suggestion is to make one whole overall section that include these topic sections (simply examples): "The Studio" (Basically what we have now, art essentially) "Game Design" (This could include new games you've been developing or mods of other games) "Level Design" (Levels for other games) "Tutorials" (A place to put tutorials for any engine or art stuff)... perhaps others or modify these.

And then the last would just continue our Tech Talk, Community Discussion, and Off Topic sections.

This is just an observation, personally I think making changes like these could help a lot in structure/organization.

Agreed, I don't see why they can't just be like "Yes, this could improve the website, however we should do it in this way ..." or "No, becuase ..."

Saying its becuase the website is dead is an excuse for laziness, there is obviously still a community here, and anything can always be improved.

Honestly, for the Halo Universe, all we need is "Halo Console" and "Halo PC". All the discussion for the console games goes into the Halo Console section, all the stuff for Halo PC, CE, and H2V goes into the Halo PC section.

This site died with H2V, simply because we had a VERY stubborn userbase which didnt support mod's or developments in other games. Eventually anyone with half a brain that wanted to see any of the work they had done went to other websites and those that remained did so only out of nostalgia or to hang with people they'd known for years.

Dont kid yourself that this site is anything but a place where friends from a once productive community hang out for some fun or random interesting facts.

Higuy's only doing this because he's been called out on being an idiot in other areas of the forum, so heres a "WHERE DID WE GO SO WRONG, WE COULD FIX THIS, I KNOW WHAT TO DO" post that we've had 4000 times over the last few years, none of which have EVER produced ANYTHING AT ALL PERIOD.

The only thing I want to enforce when it comes to forum structure on my site is that Halo CE keeps its own section (since I host servers for it that are associated with the site). Other than that, I can make the structure however.
