Halo2 Video problems-resolution,Hz,fullscreen

i'm having problems with the video settings in halo 2. When i try to change the resolution i'm gettin black screen with lines. I can play it only windowed or with the last selected resolution but on 60Hz. I'm with 158.18 nVidia drivers

Get the newer 158.43 set.

Same with them. But when I uninstall the video drivers the game runs great. I can change resolutions, i can do alt+tab, things that i couldn't do with installed drivers ... wonderfull.. but without any drivers everything else sucks. I can't watch normally video ..

am i the only one with this kind of problem :confused:

Wait, so you uninstall the drivers, reboot computer, and just start playing after it boots up =S and it works?

Probably because windows drivers like it.
