View Full Version : Mute others in multiplayer?

As title, I was playing today in some server and there was a moron whose mic was all echoy, I could barely hear anything else. Is there any way to mute someone else in multiplayer, and if so, how? Better yet, can one just mute the entire built-in voice chat system? I've checked the manual, and done a search in these forums and turned up nothing.

Thanks for any help in advance...

There is no options like that. Welcome to GFWL. Where you get less for more.

Wow. How asinine. I've been playing for the past hour in at least 4 different servers and I've left every time because of people's feedback issues. I'm convinced they're doing it just to piss others off. The last server I played on had some dumbass whose mic was producing frequencies I didn't know existed.

Not to mention those morons who keep canceling the game countdown until everyone else in the lobby eventually quits out of frustration. Whoever thought up these brilliant features at Hired Gun should go give a .45 magnum a blowjob.

Honestly, if I had known of these issues beforehand, I would NEVER have bought this game. What a waste of money...

I'd like to thank that FBI douchebad for giving me neg rep then labeling it "idiot." I'm sorry I didn't know that option was buried in the made-for-console Live interface. Jack off.

OK! I cant beleive no one noticed yet how to turn off the ability to hear People on Voice Chat, so heres how.

Go to the Guide, Go to Personal Settings, Go to Voice, at the top of the page set the Playback slider down to 0. Done.

You can also mute individual people, Go to Guide, Go to Players, Select the player you want to mute, on the next page click Mute Player. Done.
