Since it is possible to play against xbox 360 owners on live with a gold membership, is it possible to play a lan party with pc's and xbox 360's?

First, no it's not possible to play 360 owners with a gold membership, H2V was the exception to that rule, and no.

Cross platform play is not possible, so it won't work any way you try it.

It's best that cross-platform play isn't available in the first place for H2V. Most Xbox players are more accurate than PC players since they only have to hold a controller while PC players have to deal with fingers touching the wrong key and making a big mistake.

Also, the Xbox version has auto-aim, while PC doesn't. It gives the Xbox an unfair advantage against the PC version.

It's all about balance and having fun, kids.

The PC version also has auto-aim if you're using a controller.

Like SMASH said, the PC version has auto-aim for controllers. There was a huge "hype" over it too... If it really were about balance, they would have left that out.

Incorrect. Aiming with a mouse is FAR more accurate than a controller. Time how long it takes for you to turn 180 degrees. Compare that to a flick of the wrist.

Also, "Big mistakes" from hitting the wrong key? I find myself screwing up more on a controller than a keyboard.

one of the big thing why cross plat form play was droped from H2V was the map size, it wouldn't work out that well, if there is a Halo 3 PC, maybe cross plat from play will be there.

I agree the only advantage xbox users would have is they've played it more, but other than that if anything pc has the advantage. btw what do you mean by it was dropeed because of the map size?
