Hello,

First of all, my PC specs are as follows:

Intel Core 2 Duo T770 2.4 GHz (Santa Rosa)
nVidia GeForce 8600 GT (DX10)
2 Gigs of Ram
Vista Home Premium

So, that said, I installed Halo 2 expecting the best performance possible, but when I started the game, everything has jagged lines all over it, it is quite annoying. It appears that anything which is supposed to have specular shine is not working correctly, I will take a picture of the problem asap. Hopefully you guys can help me out.

is this a custom built machine if so then you need to check your drivers Nvid's drivers arn't the best yet

nope, not a custom build. As far as I know, vista has been having issues with these "Jaggies" as I have read them to be called.... my drivers are up to day, so says nVidia forceware update.

Do you have a screenshot? When people talk about "jaggies" they generally mean the lack of anti-aliasing, which you can turn up in your graphics control panel. And with an 8600 you probably won't be getting "the best performance possible," especially when you turn on anti-aliasing.

Does you problem look like the same problem I had? If so, new drivers fixed me right up..
