Do anybody here know how to sword fly?
It's when you aim at somebody and you fly with the sword.

Or did they remove the glitch? Can anyone tell me how?

most people refer to it as "sword canceling" and I believe the fix was included

It wasn't. Me and Syuu did it a few weeks after the game came out (after the update). Basically you have a person stand on top of you (you can have a sword), and keep meleeing and pressing reload very fast in continuation while keeping your lock on to him. This will push you both into the air.
And, the other person has to be on a different team for that to work.
Or, if you're talking about something else, it's basically the same method to push.
Either that or I don't know what you're referring to. :(

Sorry but I'm not talking about that sword thing, I saw this video, of this guy aiming with sniper, the cross-hair turns red and he flys to that place with a sword.

Well I have sword cancelled and rocket cancelled before but not with the sniper in Vista.

Sword cancelling and melee cancelling still work, but the thing where you switch weapons and lunge does not.

...
I did some things like that, but I was the one being aimed at, I'd have to find the guy who was doing it, and I'll try to do some filming. If you give me your GT I'll try to send you a game inivite.

lol, he means in halo 2 on the 360. Where you sword lunge at the person without physically doing it. Right trigger, and B is how to do it on console :P

He is talking about on Vista. Dunno, but I think you can do it in campaign. You have to switch weapons and left click really fast.

Sword flying was the term Bungie used to refer to what used to happen when the person in the side seat of a vehicle (spectre/warthog) exited the vehicle after locking on to another person or vehicle and then the person walked away or the driver of the vehicle moved away. This was removed from multiplayer in the v1.1 Xbox patch.

Sword lunging refers to what happens when you switch to the sword from a ranged weapon with a red reticle and attack. This only works with some ranged weapons and is much harder to do in multiplayer after the v1.1 H2X patch... but it is still possible (the button combinations are slightly different though).

Sword canceling is when you lock on to somebody with a sword and then cancel the attack by reloading. This was unaffected by the v1.1 H2X patch.

Since the v1.1 patch was included by default in Vista, I'd assume that sword flying is out of the question and that sword lunging is limited (in multiplayer).

Edit: Thanks for compliment. I'm new here (as seen by the post count) and I'm new to mapping, modeling, etc., but I'll help out where I can. *offtopic* I just wish there was a good description of the function of each of the shader_templates so that I could rebuild the Halo 1 shaders from the tutorial level (water/teleporter is giving me problems). *offtopic*

^ Good post, this has been talked about in previous threads, and I've tried to explain it. But I didn't go into the detail you did. Once Rep is working for me again, I'll toss some your way.

I'm guessing everything from current Halo 2 is STILL in this game, except for superbounces.

I think.and when I mean all, I mean all, well almost all

That'd be easy to check... the bounce from the zanibar base hallway to the roof is one of the best/easiest in the game (especially for sniping), so I'll go check that one.
