Hi.

Im using 3dsmax 9 and using bluestreak .ASS exporter (script by the ghost). I made a map that i consider to be good and really want to finish it off by using halo 2 sapien and guerilla. problem is that i can't seem to export it into an .ASS format because i get this critical error saying: Warning: Object 'turretbridge' does not have a uniform scale in the x, y, and z directions. This WILL cause undesired results! Im not sure that if this error only happens with the bluestreak .ASS exporter. By scaling an object in a either one of the x, y, and z directions using the Select and Uniform Scale tool, it seems to cause this problem. i can't just simply undo what i've done because i've come to the completion of the architectural work on my map in 3dsmax.

The best way to fix this is to use the "Reset XForm" tool, which will reset all rotations and transformations to default values while keeping the geometry the same size. Check the Utilities tab on the command panel.

You'll find that when working on game content, regardless of the engine, Reset XForm your best friend. Max does a ton of complex relative scaling/rotation within its scene, and nobody's exporter goes to the trouble of working through it all.

Note that there's a Reset XForm modifier as well, but it's really not the same thing. You want the utility.
