View Full Version : Adding fog and a fog shader...

Hi.

I was just wondoring if the editor came with anything to make fog with. If not can someone expalin to me how to make a shader for fog. Also can someone please explain how to put fog in (i mean in max). The one way i have heard of it being done is by making a plane and calling it +media and changing something in the structure_bsp. I mean if i have a shader how would a plane define a region of fog?? I am really confused (as you can clearly see) and i would really appreciate anything anyone would have to say to help me.

i havent made fog so im not so sure, but i dont think you need a shader, you just use a +media plane end edit the scenario file in guerilla to change what fog looks like, etc.

Hey Armoman it's TrueFaith101. Making maps? I cant figure dumb max 8? I need help with makin a map in MAx 8 because Im a noob! lol
