MacGyver and Apple both know a good tool when they see one. Check out the "Official iPhone Tool" they included with my warranty service packet.

Apple even over-packages paper clips.

Bid on it here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290146083291)

Now you can own the "Official iPhone Tool" without having to send your phone in for warranty service. This is the original and only paper clip sanctioned by Apple for use on their iPhones. They are only available directly from Apple Support. The packaging features instructions for use so there's no confusion on how to use it. It is unopened in its original packaging.

NOTE: The clip doesn't come ready to use, you must bend the long end out before it is ready to use. There are no instructions on how to do this and I'm not much of a DIY guy, so hopefully you are.Hahahaha!

Well at least they send one. Most instructions tell you to find one yourself for example when I had cd drive on my laptop stuck shut. I called up tech support and they told me to go find a paper clip and unbend it and stick it in the hole. I couldn't find any paper clips so I had to improvise and use a tooth pick.

Hell I have one in sight right now, except it's currently jury-rigging something.

ok, that's rich, if I need a "iTool" I'll just go to work and pick up every paper clip I see on the floor, and I find a lot.

Those aren't iTools, they are like cheap knock off iPods, like Zen's and Zunes, only Apples is the true one.

Those are Zules, they're Microsoft's knock-off of the iTool. You can't use those.

I'm talking the paper clip. but yea, apple's a money whore. and just so every one knows, I hate the new iPhone, it's too much of a touch screen, I'd hate to hang up on some one trying to talk to them and my ear or something hits something that closes the call, or does something weird like that. yea, I like touch screens, but there is a limit on what it can/should be used for, and a phone isn't one of those things you can/should use touch screens for.

have you used the new iphone? it sounds like you're trying to sound important by disagreeing with everybody on the fact that iphones are great (minus the non 3g support)

Touchscreen phones have existed for years.
My brother has one which he got from my dad which is still technically owned by the company he works for.
It's an old Sprint Pocket PC Phone Edition, made by Toshiba.
My problems with the iPhone are the ones everyone is bitching about plus the fact that everything "new and amazing" about the iPhone isn't new or amazing.

iTool = Win, however

The screen and touch sensors shuts off when you hold it up to the side of your face. Don't ask me how it does it, it just does.

What I have noticed with the iphone isn't much that is new, but more of things done right, especially with the touch screen. Sort of what the ipod did with mp3 players. Mp3 players existed way before the ipod, but the ipod was just the one that did it right and created revolution in portable music. I have had serious doubts about the touch screen due to past experiences with older touch screen phones that worked more like PDAs. After testing one out myself, I was impressed of how well the touch screen keyboard worked. It was far less annoying than I thought it would be like. A large step up from number pad based typing and tiny pin head sized keyboard buttons. The image zooming seemed a bit scifi-ish with the dual finger action, but its cool. But like most apple products, it is too pricey for my tastes, but thats brand name/quality you are paying for. Definitely something I would get if the prices drop.
