My school forces us to do a ridiculous project which is a major waste of time, however you can do anything. So I decided to build a PC because I have always wanted to, but lacked the money. I have basically $1000 but I can put more money towards it if I need to.

Here is my list of parts and if you see any problems or issues with my setup or just know of something that would be far better without costing a whole lot more please tell me.

Triple yes.
Although if you can somehow get another $100 I would recommend getting the 640 megabyte version of the 8800 GTS.
