Sapien help.

When opening a scenario, in Sapien, the program loads, and so does the scenario, but the game window is black. Maybe this is just a product of me opening the tutorial scenario, but nothing shows and sound scenery plays. What could the problem be?

Did you try moving around? My screen starts out white until I move around a little. (use the middle mouse button and WASD keys)

Nothing, if i move it, or move another window over it, it turns white, but then goes back to pure black. Moving the camera does nothing.

EDIT: I figured an uninstall and reinstall would be in order, that fixed nothing. Anyone know whats going on?

It coul be yout graphics card or your video card.:eek:

7800GT vid card... I guess that could be the problem... now I just need to fix it.

Nah a 7800 GT should be more then enough for the HEK... I doubt thats it, you could always check to see if your running the latest video drivers and DirectX version...

Latest everything, I'm sure of that.

nVidia Forceware 162.22 with DirectX 10 (though my card only supports DirectX9)

Anyone have any idea of what the problem could be? Is it Vista? Or does Sapien just hate me?

some people have problems with Sapien. I have problems loading it.

Maybe you should try turning off Aero.
