Nothing ground breaking was in the article really.

I am 100% for hacking SP games and other ways of hacking MP games that dont give only one person an advantage and most of the time gives fun for everyone. Ways to test the system in SP, finding new things, expanding on a game which would be less interesting etc.

Thats why I like to hack halo, I dont do it when its competetive (e.g. aimbot) but moving things around, teleporting etc for me are just fun things to do.

Very interesting. Because I avoid multiplayer RPGs like the plague, I've never experienced some of that stuff. It's a good example of just how sick and manipulative humans are.

Google the game. It looks like an MMOPorno.

As for the article, what do people really expect when it comes to multiplayer and interaction with others? Just like in real life, there's a big chunk of people out there who are vile, cruel, and try to cheat the system at the expense of others. It's life in a virtual world, really. I've been trying out EVE for the past few days and despite how interesting it is, the end-game of it encourages to be ruthless and heartless. The richest/wealthiest people in the game are those that made a living targeting new players and robbing them blind (such as scams and what not). The talk of it all discourages me from ever leaving a system below 0.5 security.

Why would they code it so you could rape people? Or is it like a hack that does the action of robbing but text says "You Rapped Bob" or some thing. Pretty f'd up if you ask me.

I used to play a few MMO's, biggest problem with them was botters.

Iawtp.

About Second Life...I checked it out about a year ago. I was on about 10 minutes before I realized that it has to be all about people spanking it to copulating cyber-figures made of polygons and Photoshop. I quickly left and was thankful I have a wife at home that keeps me happy. Needless to say I never went back.

Yeah, it looks like a cyber-sex haven for the desperate. I seriously didn't even know games like that existed. I wouldn't actually mind Jack Thompson targeting that one really.

Oh, maybe no one has told him?
