From the videos I've already seen, I feel the animations need to be worked on. So I hope they have changed from the ones I saw (gun animation I'm talking about)

There are newer videos, if you haven't seen them. I saw a couple of the old ones a while back. They sucked.

On a side note, after reading the first post in this topic, I shot up out of my seat, ran over to my TV and began unpacking my 360 from its box (I just moved back up to my mom's a week ago, but I haven't played anything since). I am now downloading.

EDIT: lol, an update made specifically for Guitar Hero II's guitars.

Ordering parts for a new pc, its going to be tight getting a 360. but thats what the holidays are for lol. I will definatly pick up this game. However they claim to think they are "redefining" fps. Im getting tired of companies saying that about their games. The ai is cool in bioshock, as well as some other things, interactive environment ect... nothing that i see is redefining a gaming genre. they really shouldnt say that. k im done now lol

Played it at my cousins house earlier today. The only thing I wish is that I had a flashlight.........Its like they only want the game to be us and the shadows........

Some of the guys over at HM discovered that the Bioshock demo - *gasp* - RRoD'd their boxes! If it has the ability to kill it must be good.

Haven't completed the demo yet, but the graphics are fucking amazing. It looks sooo real.
I LOOOOOOOVED the part where the Big Daddy used his giant drill on that guy, and then pummelled the guys body on the wall over and over.
That is pwned and a half.

Oh, and try hitting a dead body with a wretch, and check out the blood effects...

Bioshock is up there with Halo. Definitely. Original storyline, great graphics and a ton of new weapons = teh ownage. Gonna get tons of rewards, too.

I thought it looked like crap in places, with the particles such as the flames. Then again, could be my crappy old tv. The opening was.. meh.. Oh hi im in an airplane... *CRASH* oh hi there.. im in the water and now appears a lighthouse that leads to an underwater city with splicers... and i have no clue what splicers even are..

I agree, some parts did look pretty terrible. Although other parts looked amazing so I can't complain. Its a bit hard to get everything to look perfect, you have to cut some corners sometimes.

At first the water did not fill up, while you were in the underwater tunnel. But when you pass the door at the far side, and it closes, it bulges out as if under extreme pressure. It's actually a really cool bulge effect, check it out.

Yea, that bulge was awesome. But still, i was standing there hoping to drown ( :confused2: ) and i never did. The water just didnt fill the room.

That beginning visuals are awesome. Fire looked unimpressive though, but the water just overshadowed it completely. I really have to commend them for the water - it looks amazing.

Anyway, what really creeped me out was when the lady splicer was singing that bedtime-tune...it sounded so demented, especially the way and tone she was singing it.
The only thing that made me jump was when a splicer jumped out of a toilet in the ladies toilets...that made my heart stop for a few seconds.
The Big Daddy scene is pretty damn cool too.

The demo was really short though. For 1.3GB, I was expecting more. Ah well, it is a demo after all.
