how do i join online play

i have made a live account online and used the free gold mebership that came along with halo 2. however when i sign in in the game i am not able to log on to any online game, i dont even see the onlin game list, i am able to acces network games but thats not what i want. i want to play online.

if you can help it would be apreciated.

i click network and all i get is an empty game lobby, obviously because ther are no games on my network.

when i click live i get a mesage tellign me that (there were no profiles found)...

well i have like 5 of them and a godl account.

yes, i have clicked on the live tab but all that i get is a mesage prompting me to make a live account. the problem is that i have already made one.

Oh. when signing in to Live there should be an option to recover an account. Use that to get your account on the PC. All you've done so far is create the account, it isn't in your PC yet.

really, that was uncalled for. He needs help, just answer his question, then bitch about his atrocious spelling/grammar afterwards.

Try clicking Live instead of Network, also check your firewall and router settings. Does this apply to other games as well? Sometimes, firewalls can prevent you from viewing any online servers.

Your on Vista correct? if your playing it on XP you CANT play online or network (LAN)

he says his computer cant find anby accounts. You need to log in. Click the Sign in button when it pormpts you to selelct your account. If that doesnt work, use the retrieve details..
