Isn't it heavy, n00b?
Microsoft saw GoW as a major seller so pumped out the ads for it themselves.

So...is it possible to buy it in Canada? Is there any demo or something? I need to check it out before I buy it. Bioshock demo ran simply amazing so maybe I don't need to check.

Vista AND XP, full editor's kit including SinglePlayer content. Its Epic so you know it won't be gimped.
But not GOW PC is not out yet. Looks like someone posted a misleading release date to get pre-orders... and the thread poster found it funny o.o

"Holiday 2007" usually means, in the US, the Christmas holiday season.
In the United States, "holiday," as you use it in Britain, is replaced by "vacation."

since when did micro$oft publish GoW >.>You're silly, you used a $ instead of an s in "Microsoft." You should really try to use a spell checker, they usually catch those careless mistakes. Are you using Firefox? It comes with one automatically. You should look into that I guess.

The spec requirements are high because of its need for power so if your bareley running H2v FORGET IT. and ebgames says 11/1/07

Halo 2 Vista was honestly quite a piss-poorly coded game, optimization wise.
No offense to the developers... it is obviously impossible to rewrite and optimize a whole engine still making it out in time to make the Vista and Halo 3 promotions. Hell, they didn't even have the manpower to properly separate gamespeed from the framerate code and implement an actual functioning keybinder.
Whether or not there was anything that could be done... the fact still remains -- H2V is a glitchy unoptimized port.
Unreal Engine 3 is, however, not suffering from PC mis-optimization. (d'ur :p)
Generally put, it seems that if your videocard is PS 2.0b/3.0 compatible... Gears will at least turn on. (Assuming you're using reasonable other parts... according to Epic even 512 RAM will be acceptable for Unreal Tournament 3, and therefore probably also Gears...)

Yea the unreal engine(i remember it from the stat trash talking over UNreal Tournament 1) was made for PC and optimised for pc. They ported it over to consoles and they did a good job. But as you said Gears will turn on. Will it run like crap yes!(if your barely running h2v and other games cause your a cheap fool that wont buy something that will hold you for a few years) Other than that it should run fine.(X300 = being used for XNA testing) I know my PC is a old peice of s**t but it is a strong pc. (way better than quad core/duel core) Its still more powerful than most pc's out on the market now. Yes it has an overheating problem ever sincle i maxed out on drives in there and have 2 8800's takeing up a big part of the case. i <3 My pc....errm well if you can run halo 2 on medium you can prob run Gears on Low. I can run Halo 2 At maxed out everything so i will prob have to run Gears at 720p(Halo 2 is currently running at for recording reasons).
I hear that Gears has anti-cheat/mod stuffs in it(way more than h2) thats why there hasent been any Online Gears Modding, unlinke h2x. So i think hacks will come out and they will be good hacks(btw skyline u pwn, anthony same,...i dont even need to mention KM00) But Cliffy B is teh Best.
Go! Cliffy B Go!
