When i watch a youtube Halo 2 video it shows him with no HUD, i know how to get rid of the weapon but i was just wondering if there was some type of tool i could use to get rid of my HUD when i make a movie on Halo 2 Vista?:confused:

um, the only way I know of that will help you with removing the HUD, is the blind skull, but I don't know where it is, and if it is even still in the game. If you're talking about the MC's/elite's arms and weapon, that I know how to do, and I have a video for that.

For singleplayer, use the blind skull. For multiplayer, at the moment all we can do is use the oddball trick put in by bungie.

I guess if Kornman releases the hacked Guirilla, you could probably just remove the tag from the globals list.

You could just make your own weapon for that... Given that he releases some of his tools.

Removing a weapon from the globals will prevent you from having just that weapon...

It's just like Halo CE.

And no, there is no application or way to remove all of it. I'm assuming the video you saw was made using a modded xbox...

there is an application that Bitter made some time ago for Halo CE and Halo PC, you can remove the text, HUD, gun model, FP arms, and then some, but none for Halo 2 yet, but I bet Pat, Bitter, and maybe kornman might work on one maybe.

Yes, I did. Replying to me about the fact that there were Apps for Halo CE? I was clarifying that I knew this was the h2v section. Therefore, the discussion of HCE applications was not needed. For now, you can put black boxes, or simply crop out, the HUD. That's how most Halo 2 machinima has no HUD.

The H2V tagset...I'm pretty sure somebody uploaded it once...I think they even uploaded it onto the h2vista.net server...:eyesroll:
