Living up to the phrase under my avatar, I decided to make this thread out of curiosity.

Basically, just post particularly memorable bloopers in H2V (or even H2X if that's where it occurred). Was it a really hilarious move? Or a weird death? Or exploiting some unknown glitch for the first time?

Well, here's mine. I was on Metropolis on Heroic, and I took the tank. Along the way, I fired a single cannon shot at a pair of Ghosts. One of them got destroyed, but the other simply overturned and ejected its driver. The cannon was still reloading so I used the machine gun on the surviving Ghost. However, the Elite driver ran up and pushed out my rocket launcher passenger, then tried to throw me out of the tank. I immediately got out, meaning to take down the Elite with gunfire. Then the idiotic passenger who got pushed out fired his rocket launcher and took out the Elite, but also killed the other passenger and my tank. Frustrated, I executed him and hijacked a Ghost (did not want to walk back to the Warthog).

Later on, on the same level (Metropolis), I decided to bring the Gauss Warthog upstairs with me and onto the catwalk, intending to drive it onto the Scarab. I drove right off the catwalk and when I landed, I was inside that little stairway that led to the cockpit. So I reversed out, and when I got out of the Hog, a plasma nade was hurled onto the Warthog, which was conveniently surrounded by the troops. Suffice to say, BOOM. My shields got killed but most of the surrounding troops were dead.

The final blooper I can think of is in The Great Journey. I was in the Banshee, following the Scarab, and I noticed a Wraith down below. Trying to be stylish, I ejected from mid-air, but misjudged my landing and landed right in front of the Wraith, which splattered me instantly.

I get annoying bloopers everytime I give a Marine a damn rocket launcher... this one time I was at the beginning of Delta Halo (legendary), I take out the turrets with my rocket launcher then hand it off to a Marine... and as I'm charging my plasma pistol to take out an Elite, the Marine shoots me literally in the back with the rocket launcher, and sets off a pile of plasma grenades under me. Sputnik was on, and I went flying forward and got my head stuck in the structure... :<

This is why you always stand behind a Marine when you turn him into a rocketeer. I always find them best as turreteers or snipers.

Here's another bloopers. On Gravemind, I had cleared a room full of enemies, and my energy sword was completely empty. Then the ultra elite came in. I had no grenades, and all I had left was my Carbine. The obvious solution would be to retreat and find ammo, but he had switched to his sword and had begun charging. I started unloading and unloading (I had a full clip plus 52 rounds in reserve) and after the gun clicked empty, he was still alive, but his shields were down, so I jumped over him and whacked.

on Quarantine zone, I was trying to board a tank (or was it a hog) well the flood drove the vehicle to the edge and just about drove off of it but then I killed him, and I was on the side that was over the edge, and I forgot and jumped off and fell to my death. and I think I've seen a few AIs jump off a cliff on Delta Halo trying to get away from me throwing grenades at them.

I've seen elites and jackals do rolls away from my grenades and ending up over a cliff-edge! Obviously, they prefer jumping rather than fighting a Spartan.

A good lesson to remember kids: When faced with fighting a Spartan or fighting gravity, go with gravity. There's a better chance that there's a giant marshmallow at the bottom of the ravine than the chance of the Spartan not killing you.

Today I was playing delta halo trying to get assassins
so my marines got the ghosts at the bridge
and when I got to the waterfall area nearby the temple where you get it
my marine screamed "We got a ghost!" tried to ram him, and flew off the edge, and the enemy followed him off.
Also i purposely committed suicide off the to of the metropolis bridge.

(I know it's not singleplayer, but it's a blooper)

I was playing halo 2 last night on the ES coagulation server, and I managed to get both the enemy's banshee and the rocket launcher (I got the rocket launcher by smg-ing one banshee and the enemy banshee by hijacking another one). I tried to be non-noobish and only defend from my base. I got 2 overkills before people started complaining about I being a banshee noob. I told them to stop complaining, considering how i got the banshee and RL in the first place... Anyway while I was typing that, a ghost tried to splatter me, and I pressed enter+space bar soon enough to jump over and shoot him with the rocket. While remarking at his attempt to kill me, the ghost promptly overloaded and slammed the hull into my face. It didn't even bother to say killed by the guardians, I just got a black screen.
