i'm curious as to the main idea/storyline of the campaign. i've been trying to find it here and on the scythopolis site and i have yet to find anything that describes the campaign in full. if you can, what's the main idea for this?

thanks,
Scooby

If you need any help with weapons placements throughout the level, or any critique on specific areas, I'd be willing to help. I am an expert on where to put weapons in any level to improve the game-play and assure that each area of the level will be used, rather than one straight-and-narrow path from weapons cache to weapons cache. Drop me a line if you want help at any time.

@Scooby: Yeah, that's intentional- I like the way the story is coming along (read: still not finished lol), and I don't want to spoil it. All you need to know is that it's set in the Halo universe on an outer colony named Epoch in/around the year 2530.

@Massacre and sever: Yeah, I'm always looking for help. At the moment what I really need is bsp and scenery modelers, but it shouldn't be too long before I need to start placing scenery and ai and weapons and such, and the audio technicians I was talking to have vanished, so I need that, and I still need voice actors, and a loong way off, I'm gonna need Beta testers.

I currently only have gmax, but I'll be willing to help in any way I can with model ideas, voice-acting, beta testing, and anything else that may arise. I hope to be able to download a student version of 3dsmax, due to the fact that I am now enrolled in a CADD class at my local community college, but until then, I'm stuck with gmax. If there is an easy way to import and export models, however, I can help you immediately.

It's in limbo between states right now. Is it Halo 2 Vista? I sure hope so, but it looks like H2V SP may be a long way off yet. Is it in Halo CE? Well, no, it isn't there either atm. But for all the content that has been created so far, it won't be too much trouble to port it from one engine to the next. Just a whole lot of rebuilding and re-radiositying, probably.

I would love to see a birds-eye view of the whole thing, or at least some parts, just to see if you are going about the layout in a good manner. I don't doubt you on this, but I just would like to help in any way, even if it's just a " keep on goin' " comment. I know that you want this to be as good as possible before its release, and I'm here to help however you need.

Srry, no can do, that would constitute too much of a spoiler. Someday I'll put that gallery back up so you can see all the screenshots in one area, so you can get a general idea of what's going on, but I don't want to show the entire layout of the map even after it's been released. I want people to not know, so they have more reason to explore. =D

I fully understand. If it's possible, how about PM me a birds-eye view of like 5 or so linked rooms/areas that won't give anything away, just so I can see if you're not making it too linear/straightforward or too scattered/random. I've played through H1 and H2's campaigns MANY times, along with a good amount of other 1stPS games, and I have learned a LOT of good do's and don't's. Just trying to lend a hand. If the answer is still no, I fully understand and respect your opinion for whatever reasons you may have.
