Im trying to run Halo PC (not custom edition) a friend's pc, but every time i try to browse games, I get about 10 servers. I try to surf on xfire, and i see all the servers except i get
"Connection rejected......Your client is older than the server...."

Now I normally know how to fix this, but its not working. I manually downloaded the 1.07 patch and installed it, but it said it was already up to date. I have manually opened ports 2302, 2303 (whatever the halo ports are) and tried shutting down Mcafee firewall. I can join the 10 servers I see, but....there are only 10. And before you ask no i am not using the ...its a legit copy.

It sounds like you are using a "no cd" hack. It may be a legit copy, but if you are running it without the CD using that hack, you will only be able to play on hacked servers. This happened to me before. If that's not why, then I would have no idea why it's doing that.

oh i thought i added that part. No we are using a fresh install with no cracks
