As the title says, I'm looking to edit some .VOB files from a DVD, as converting them to .WMV is going to take all night, assuming the converter doesn't crash again. Preferably free or with a trial. Thanks in advance.

Uhhh, PSPVideo9 does it.

I know it's for the PSP, but it can be useful for a lot of things!

You need to use some type of ripping software to rip the DVD to an avi or wmv. From there you can do whatever editing you want.

Thanks for your suggestions guys, but I got an open-source one from another forum.

VirtualDubMod (http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net/).

Did everything I need, and didn't need installing.
