How do you get glass to be transparent in max and not black, I know how to make glass, and how to get it in-game, but when applied, the texture in max is not transparent, it's just black, totally black. Is there a way to show the transparency in max as well?

hit M, select your material, then at Opacity, change it to anything wich isn't 100. i'd suggest somethign like 30-40, so you can see the stuff behind it clearly. and give it a bit of a blue colour, so you know it's glass.

if it doesn't show as transparent in your viewport, you'll need to set the opacity quality (i think it's quality anyway) to "best".
