I want a cookie...
I'll leave this to current tech:
45nm Core 2 Quad @ 3.8GHz kept cool by ultra-quiet carbon nanotube HSF
Custom built into desk/wall case with precisely engineered cooling and storage.
Dual G90 series GPU's
Two Gateway 30'' Monitor w/ IS and Pioneer Elite Plasma 1080p TV
8GB DDR2 <Insert crazy speed I'll pay out the nose for> ram, maybe DDR3 haven't payed too much attention to that new fangled jazz.
2TB Internal space connected to wireless Media server connected to all TVs in the house
z5500 Set up connected to X-Fi Super-elite-pro-whatever and HD555's or 595's.
PCP&C 1kw PSU or something.
2 DVD-R/RW Super Multi Drives
Some crazy chipset ASUS motherboard with a shit load of never to be used features thats sole purpose is to look sexy in my crystal clear case.
G15 keyboard and a Razor mouse
Perfectly efficent desk built to suit all my needs
Xbox 360 Elite laying around connected to the Pioneer Plasma Elite
Yeah, thats about it.

The only things I would change would be:
Only 1 DVD-R/RW Super Multi Drive, and 1 Blu-Ray Drive(just for shits and giggles).
2 Xbox 360 Elites (one for modding, and a stock one)
Also I already have the Z5500 from Logitech.

I want the 30" apple cinema display running at 2560x1600.
And a Geforce 9800 (yes, Nine-800) video card
And 4GB + of RAM
And a cooling system that uses nitrogen.
And a PS3
And whatever the best quad core is
And finally, a T3 connection so that when I host my own servers, I get the best performance.

Well my DREAM rig is uh:
30,000 THz Pentium1337 Quintuple-core
400,000 TB DDR1337 SDRAM
(ERROR: OVERFLOW) TB 696969 RPM Hard Drive
Ati HD133337 with 400TB memory
Oh, and a power source that uses jet fuel.
But back to fantasy-land:
Pentium Quad core, but Dual-core with freq over 2.0 ghz is okay
2+ GB RAM
Ati HD2xxx series, but XT1xxx is good as well
HD space I don't care
And windows vista to fuck everything up
And, the money to buy it :[
