Hey Everyone,
I don't usually discuss my current computer specs because they suck, yet i still manage to run high end games on medium on it so its not to bad
Anyway my current computer specs,
Processor: 2 GHz (AMD Sempron 3000+) [Single core]
RAM: 1GB
Hard Drive: 160GB
Graphics: Geforce 6600LE
And why i 'Can't Wait' is that i get my brand new PC on Saturday. This one is pretty damn old now, so i needed something a little better...
Anyway my new computers specs will be,
Processor: Athlon 64 X2 5200+ (2.6GHz Dual Core)
RAM: 2GB
Hard Drive: 250GB
Graphics: Geforce 8600GT
It's a little better in some people eyes yes, but in my eyes its much better. And at least i will now be able to 'try' to play games it bit easier on the PC. :D

Did I say it comes close? I just said it has 0.6 more Ghz
Also is that Socket A? I can't remember if 3000+ is being produced for Socket A. My bro has 1.0Ghz Sempron Socket A.

I'm drooling more over his CPU than anything.
I honestly don't get why people make a thread saying "I JUST ORDERED MY COMPUTER YAYAYAY" with out asking the community if it completely blows or any compatibility issues before ordering.
Then your like "O shii"

1,099,511,627,776 bytes, or
1,099 gig.
What did you think he meant? 1 Gig? Its actually becomming increasingly common to be in the 500-1000 gig range.

It's not 1,099,511,627,776 bytes, or 1,099 gig. It's simply 1TB. No, not 1.099TB. There is no 1024GB with hard drives.
Also, uTorrent > all.

There are 1024GB in a TB. Just as there are 1024 MB in a GB.
Give me some proof its 1000 before you - rep me and call me "stupid fuck"

Get back on topic guys.
That's a nice PC FireDragon, although that CPU isn't really the BEST, but it's still excellent for running games on high. Video card is great and can push most games on highest at widescreen resolutions.

No, it doesn't work that way.

Xetsuei™;172765']No, it doesn't work that way.I looked up on wikipedia and it says "A terabyte (derived from the prefix tera- and commonly abbreviated TB) is a measurement term for data storage capacity. The value of a terabyte is based upon a decimal radix (base 10) and is defined as one trillion (short scale) bytes, or 1000 gigabytes."
Though I always learned that it went by 2's (Where I came up with 1024.)

Anyway, Thanks for the comments guys, those not arguing with other 'forumers' about how much 1TB is....
Picking up the computer in Saturday, so im happy, and it will rub its big fat ass all over my old comps specs. I've never even used a Duel Core PC before, let alone one with 2GB of RAM or A graphics card over the 7000 series (Geforce) [My friend has one].

Grats there FireDragon :)
And Xet, your an idiot, it's not just 1TB. Because if you've noticed, the space labeled on a hard drive is very, very wrong. They base their labeling off of the "standard" system (1000MB = 1GB, 1000GB = 1TB), when the actual hard drive is based on the binary system (1024 bytes = 1MB, so on, so forth). Thats why when you get a "500GB" Hard Drive, you end up with less then that.
Actually, I think I just stated it backwards, it might be that they base off of the binary system, and hard drive goes with standard... No, I think I said it right.
Anyhow, your wrong, it's not just 1TB, please don't speak unless you actually get around to learning about these things. In fact, I could be wrong ;).

You're also wrong. 1024 bytes is not 1 megabyte. Congrats on the PC FireDragon.
Edit: Also some space on the hard drive has the system management using some of the space.
