I came across this site earlier today when making the rounds to the sites I lurk browse daily. I thought I would be nice and post it here.

Free Texture Materials (http://www.spiralgraphics.biz/packs/) I would also recommend checking out their other products (http://www.spiralgraphics.biz/products.htm).

If you have any other links to FREE resources (textures, sounds) that would be of use in maps for Halo, please post in this thread.

e: also, here's a thread for all the bitmaps found in H2V: http://www.modacity.net/forums/showthread.php?3879-PIE-Happy-4th-Present

www.3d.sk (http://www.3d.sk) kinda free, most if paid content, but lots of free stuff as well.
www.3dkingdom.org (http://www.3dkingdom.org) has free material packs for 3ds max.
www.classic-space.com (http://www.classic-space.com) (click on the ART tab) lots of reference material and inspiration there. it's nothing compared to the folder i've got on my computer for reference though.
www.suurland.com (http://www.suurland.com) has a good library of Blueprints for all kinds of cars/boats/aircraft/tanks/whatever
theres more, but cant name em off the top of my head.

Here's a couple awesome sites I learned about when I used to make cars for NFS3/4. Every reference blueprint you could every want; plains, trains and automobiles, weapons, spaceships, humans, electronics. Makes modeling way easier.

http://www.the-blueprints.com/
has tutorials too

http://suurland.com/
go to blueprints page (also has a couple tutorials)

Transmogrifying doesn't roll off my tongue very well.

I remember looking at those "photorealistic" textures, they were helpful back in HPC modding =D
