This is a AR i modeled in like 30mins, and it's just a MA-5-b not c, and i know it's not that good, but it's not done yet...

Um... well it almost sort of vaguely kind of resembles the shape of the assault rifle. Since I know the "modeling gods" are going to come and spam you with tutorial links, there's not much for me to say.

I see an extruded outline right there. If you want to get serious about modeling, I suggest you learn to plane model. Trace's tut is widely used. It will help. I guarantee it. Fair warning : some people (Snaf, Ross, Tweek I love you all) may post things you see as flames, but they're trying to be helpful. Their advice is the best you can get, however harsh it may be, and you'll look back on it and be glad they didn't sugarcoat anything for you. Learning from mistakes and accepting criticism is the best way to learn stuff around here.

FLAMES VS. CRITIQUE
A flame is a verbal attack. Flames are made to insult a user, and are made with absolutely no backing to them. The aim of a flame is to get under someone's skin by just saying something as simple as "you're gay."
Critique is NOT an attack. The point of critique is to make clear what is wrong with something. While it may LOOK like a flame, critique has some backing and is in actuality just brutal honesty.
If a user happens to say that your work sucks, be honest with yourself. Is it actually good compared to other works you may have seen? Don't attempt to kid yourself into thinking that something you made is the best when people are saying otherwise.

well, i used the way to model by making a plane, and adding a texture to it, and modeling off the side...

and no i just thought it would be cool to model an AR(crappy AR) does anone know of a tutorial that could show me how to model a weapon better?

an excellent model of a box. but really trace, is it helpful in any way to use profanity when responding to a thread like this? no. it isnt.
