I was just wondering if there is any way to quicken how fast you get your xbox 360 back, no mines not broken right now but I know it will in the near future as my E74 error keeps showing up.

Didn't someone like write a letter and get it back hella faster?

Call 1-800-4-My-Xbox.

Do their stuff, register your box, etc.

Wait a few days.

Pack your 360 in the box they've sent you and send it in the mail.

Wait two weeks.

A new Xbox 360 has arrived.

Yay, you've just done it as fast as is possible.

My friend got his back in 8 days, so quite obviously that isn't the fastest.

Fix it yourself - fastest way.

Seriously, the only reliable method that I know of is what Atty said. Plus, the return time varies - sometimes they can do it quickly, sometimes they can't.

If I send it in once should it basically be fixed forever?

Sometimes you get lucky some times you dont ,depends how swamped the company who fixes/distrubites them is. 2 weeks is usually the rule of thumb.

It depends...that's all I can say. What is the problem with the console anyway? If it's an overheating problem, the repairs should be reasonably long-lasting.

no

Yes.No, actually. They will probably break again in the future, its the same with all electronic components. Nothing is guaranteed to last forever.

Fix it yourself - fastest way.

Also the fastest way to void any warranties, service plans, etc that may be tied to the system. Only fuck with it once all coverage expires for good.
