Weird network problem

Everytime I turn on my computer, I keep getting this unconnected sign for my internet connection:

As you can see in the bottom right corner, it says that I am not connected to any networks or a cable is unplugged, I already tried Diagnose and Repair and it detected no problem, and I am still able to use the internet fine, but because of this, it does not allow me to share files over my LAN. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Whenever I right click it and go to connect to a network, it says there are none available.

Its becuase of aim i believe, the latest beta version messes up a few things.. theres a topic somewhere that explains how to fix the problem but i've lost the link, just google the error message it gives you when you visit the network and sharing center, this problem is so stupid it took me months to figure out what the hell was going on..

TBH I use 5.9 Classic. I don't like using anything newer than 5.9
