xbox 360 and my tv

Well, I got an Xbox 360 today and bla bla... long story short:
The xbox display on the screen goes above and below the screen, like its too big to display the entire thing on the TV. The top and bottom of the screen/display are both cut off. I've tried fumbling around with it and the Xbox System settings but nothing seems to has worked.

Is it my TV or the Xbox, everything else displays fine. And it's not on widescreen or any crazy function like that.

seems like there may be something wrong with your video import jack. Try making sure its tightly in place, and if it still doesnt work try a different Television. My cousin had the same problem with his TV.
