HOLY CRAP! Has anyone played it yet? It is so much fun. The game play and graphics are awesome.
Anyone else have/want it?

I'm not much of an RPG fan, but I have tried it on my neighbor's PS3, and the gameplay/graphics are breathtaking. The only reason not to like the game is if you don't like the genre in the first place.

Yea but what game isn't?
Think about it for a little bit...
Assassin's Creed is repetitive but in my eyes at a standard thats acceptable, i guess I'll have more input when I'm finished lol.

Its very repetitive, but the sheer funness makes up for it.

Thats my opinion too. Honestly I want to fucking assassinate the beggars and the guy who has shitty fighting students, every time I see and hear them.

The only reason this game is a success is that, when I do an assassination, but it did not look cool enough or feel like I did it the way the assassination should have been carried out, I don't kill the target, rather die and do it again >:D. This game is kinda getting in my head though.

So far I just gained entrance to the rich district of Damascus. And the only REAL trouble I had was with that doctor in Acre, getting out of the hospital while being tailed by 8 guards wasn't easy for me. Acre has got to be the city I hate the most in the game, its such a dismal place; just screams death and suffering, not to mention the corpses everywhere. >_>;

Your supposed to stealth kill all the guards before you assassinate the doctor.

I hate Jerusalem, because the jackass in the assassin's hq in that city.

I just walked around with the monk people and waited for the guy to get close. Then booked it out of there.

Right. <_<;;;
Should have done that. >_>;;;
I just killed the merchant king. It was so damn awesome. After I killed two archers and a body guard I spotted him going around a corner in the court yard, I jumped from a post and landed right on him with the stealth knife, it was beautiful.
EDIT: Yeah that guy does have an attitude problem, I really would like to kill him myself. However Jerusalem has a lot of shady and hidden areas, more so than Damascus I think. Acre you can hide anywhere because theres a fucking hole in every other wall. God the English suck at architecture.

The fat one? with the party right?
I used the map you pickpocketed to find out how to get behind him, I climbed up on top of his building and dropped down directly behind him, never saw me coming >:U. Got an achievement for that.
Oh btw I climbed back out of the building and ran back to the hq, only killing the target >:D

Same for William in Acre. I just climbed down be hind him, jumped off the wall, assassinated him, and then climbed back up and put unnoticed!

Nice random, and I'm on William now, so I'll do the same. :-3

I'm right at the end. Just watching some TV atm.
It's been really good, and actually quite full of twists, and I'm not bored the repetitiveness.

DP but worth it.
Just finished the game, and the ending is rather....unnecessary. While it could end there, they really left it open for a number 2. Lets hope if they make a second one, they fix some 'kinks'. Personally, i think there will be a prequel more then a sequel atm, on what happened at the end... but we'll see.

Just beat the game last night, holy shit that was epic. But tell me one thing, for those of you who have already beaten, do you get to keep all your upgraded weapons and abilities when you go back?
Same here, I just started the Acre mission.
Oh I had fun with that. Make sure you climb up the back of that big ship to kill him, otherwise you're going to go through a lot of unnecessary crap.

You can sit back down into the animas and redo assassinations, collect flags, scale high points and run around like a headless chicken as always.
Got a nice load of achievements on even my first play through, I usually don’t go achievement hunting so I don’t have a lot of GS (nearly 6,000) http://live.xbox.com/member/FireDragon04.
Oh the funs.

Lol shoulda came here before I did the mission today :P.
Yeah I just jumped along the roofs, waited till he was finished his speech then just jumped on him and stabbed him in the face. Everyone was alerted and flipped out. Oh well I just sorta booked it, since I already got the "fight for 10min" and "kill 25 guards in 1 battle" achievement yesterday, sorta by accident.
Ugh I found the Jerusalem one wayyy worse. I just ended up jumping on him :P

The entire story is fucked up, because you essentially play 2 characters and you're told what to do and can't really do much anything else.
Other than that, the game is pretty awesome with the realistic movements. The climbing is pretty easy. Combat gets boring after about 10 kills and it becomes more of a random reflex than anything else. You just press a button to kill really, the game's controls are extremely simple for an RPG.
The only real fun thing, I find, is stabbing people in the neck and laying them down. Another thing that bothers me is the 'blend in with the crowd' thing is so easy to get by guards and everything, you murder someone and blend in.. Then the people who witnessed it are like 'Duhh whered he go!?'...
It's fun, I rented it and played it and beat it. It's not much of a buying game since the price is set at a highly $59.99 USD in most stores. Trust me, it's definetly not worth buying.

I severely enjoy this game. I have played it so much that my eyes now hurt and it is dark out.
The COMBAT system, though, can be incredibly aggravating. 'HURR YOU DIDN'T PULL THE RIGHT TRIGGER BITCH!'

Correct but incorrect!
It's worth renting.
Unfortunately, but blockbuster didn't have any to rent, so i bought mine for £45. That was ok i already had £40 store credit in Blockbuster Games.
I'm trading it in tomorrow for Mass Effect anyway, I've got Mass Effect Pre-ordered, and its released HERE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom) tomorrow.
So in short.
Assassins Creed is a good game, worth at least an 8/10 but isn't worth a long time buy because it doesn't have must 're-playability', rent it!

When soldiers are climbing walls it becomes bloody whack-a-mole. This is a bad thing.
My friend hates it, and wants to give it to me. Should I take it and trade it in for Mass Effect?
