Whoa, a new SimCity game, first I've even heard of its development (got an email from Amazon telling me I should buy it...)

Anyone play it yet? I'm not sure if I'll ever end up buying it. The amount of time and effort needed to actually develop a city nowadays is just too demanding and I can't squeeze it into the time share of my current life style. Infact, why don't they make the fucking thing a co-op enabled game? So you can have your friends be city officals that perform and monitor certain jobs.

I was always pretty savvy with SC2k :downs:

To me, it's looked lame since I first saw it. The other sim city's were pretty good, but this seems to be detracting from the originals. The societies thing is a typical EA move.

Not worth it if you ask me. I got tired of Maxis' recycled content after SC3K and the fourth The Sims expansion pack. I'd just say hold your breath for Spore and get all Sim aspects in one game.

Spore's a bit too cartoony and unreal for me. I liked the concept, but it seems they could improve on it in a lot of areas. It lost its seriousness after I saw a few videos and screenshots. Oh well, I'm sure they'll be epic games released in the future.

It looks better than the SimCity 2000. I might try it out eventually.

Ugh, I just watched the video. This was supposed to be Simsville about half a decade ago but they scratched the idea.

Just get SimCity 4. It's essentially SimCity for noobs. It's watered down and overall disappointing with no challenge like the other ones.

SimCity 3000 Unlimited is the best.

Sim city 3000 was by far the best, it still held the origional sim city feel, but did not have all the extra garbage and effects sim city 4 did.

I remember playing the origional sim city....

I remember playing Sim Town on the Mac's at my Elementary School.
