What is with you and Co-Op games?

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is co-op over Internet and Lan.

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King is co-op over same executable.

Those are all that I know of. I wonder if Halo 3 will have co-op too.

It does have it, just like every other Halo Xbox game. Or do you mean the PC version? If so, it probably will.

That's what everybody said about H2V :\

I'm not even going to bother getting hyped about h3pc because even if it does come out we're probably just going to get majorly shafted again.

As for co-op PC games, there's Gears of War, Serious Sam, and Jedi Knight (through a mod) that I know of.

At least this time, you're asking for what games have co-op, and not whether a specific game has it, so you're cool for now. And Amit, he probably enjoys games the most if he can team up with a buddy against the AI.

Many Xbox and Xbox 360 action games have co-op, like Gears of War, Perfect Dark Zero, Halo 3, GRAW and GRAW 2, etc.

If a PC game has co-op, it'll definitely be on both LAN and internet - support for both LAN and internet play has been standard for PC multiplayer ever since the internet was first publicly available at an affordable cost. Suggestions are chaos theory, double agent, Gears of War, GRAW, GRAW 2, F.E.A.R. (a user-created mod is required), and the list goes on. Half-Life 2 itself doesn't have co-op but you can download user-created levels that enable co-op I think.

Unreal Tournament 3 has 4-player online coop.

Unfortunately that's just like playing on regular multiplayer servers with bots and an occasional cutscene.

The good news is that means that the framework is there if a modder wants to use the capability for something worthwhile.

Ya, but Halo 2 Xbox didn't have Co-op over LIVE, Halo 3 does. They wouldn't get rid of features on the PC version, would they?

If an Xbox game supports co-op on LIVE, then its PC port is at least CAPABLE of online co-op. Xbox Live is the same as regular internet, after all. There's nothing stopping the PC version of Halo 3 from at least being capable of online co-op.

You see, Halo 2 still used the Blam engine that powered Halo 1 - there were major modifications to allow for dual wielding, online 16-player, new graphics, etc, but AI still couldn't sync online, so that meant no co-op. That is why H2V not having co-op is forgivable. But if H3PC lacks co-op, there's no excuse at all.

Yeah, PC version.

Jedi Knight (through a mod) that I know of.

You talking about Knights of the Force? If so, they repeatedly cross the deadline with no Part 1 available to download. Still that will be the most absolute best modification to the Quake 3: Team Areana engine EVAR!

OH GOD! They're gonna make online Co-op a GFWL/XBOX LIVE GOLD exclusive. Sons of Bitches. Oh well, let's hope Hamachi works with H3 when we get to that stage.

No, Knights of the Force is for Jedi Academy. I'm talking about Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. Quake era.

you could type in "games with co-op" - the wikipedia link was the very first that came out. It doesn't take a university degree to figure out what keywords to type in Google.
