View Full Version : Adding stuff to campaign?

I wanted to add a bunch of stuff to b30. So right at insertion, I put crashed pelican scenery, did a actor swap, added 2 wraiths (with driver actors next to them), added a flipped scorpion (was gunna take out though), a few turrets, a few weapons near crashed peli, and more AI.

The only thing that appeared was the pelican scenery and the actor swap. Can anyone tell me how I can fix this?

I first deleted bsp b to open with sapien and then added it back in after i was done.

EDIT: I made a few obvious, stupid mistakes.

make sure you're placing weapons, not netgame equipment referenced to weapons.

Yeah, I noticed there wasn't any netgame equipment, so used weapons. I got that.

uhh the vehicles need to be in globals...im half asleep...saw your name, knew you were new to ce...decided to try and help.

Yeah spawn weapons as weapons. not itmc's.

were your ai on a command list to get in the wraith?

Command lists only work about 50% of the time. Half of the time, the AI sit there because they have something better to do.

Or it's because you haven't reloaded the scenario so AI recognize new command points.

Command lists do work 100% of the time. All of the cutscenes with moving shit in Biohalo are command lists.

About the rest of the stuff you said was the models you put in .scenery or .vehicles?
If they were scenery then they should show but if they were vehicles then you need to add the pelican in globals.globals. And if I were you don't put vehicles in as scenery

Yeah, I used a scenery tag. And a command script? Didn't think of that. I'll try that.

single player maps do not refer to the globals for vehicles, thats only multiplayer maps.

I made an obvious mistake with a few things...so I got the vehicles and weapons.

But I'm still having some trouble with the new AI. I have commands lists ready for them...

EDIT: I just made more AI for this existing encounters, but I still can't get them in turrets/vehicles (and I tried command lists...)

did you make the command and restart sapien...and did you choose a distance for the vehicle

Well, I've tried with other maps, but I still can't get new AI, and I still can't get the originals in vehicles...a little help would be appreciated.
