What program can I use to extract the BSP from a Halo PC/CE stock map and open it in gmax? I'm just looking for one quick, straightforward answer - if you don't know, don't post. Thanks in advance!

Can't be really THAt straightforward, but, here's what you do.
Get the editing kit. Use Halo Editing Kit+ to decompile the map.
Download this:
http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=2029
It lets you extract a structure BSP tag into the proper textures and .obj file
Then get this:
http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=3&fid=2569
To import that .obj into Gmax

Thanks Sunny, but no thanks to halomaps.org, I can't currently download anything - the site keeps returning a "The connection was reset" error message...
So, a quick alternative: If someone could either:
- send me the .obj file for Hang 'Em High's BSP (this can be done over xfire);
OR
- post some alternate links to the two applications.
Either would be would be greatly appreciated!

Heck, I still don't know how to get it to work... (and I've asked a few of my friends - they have no clue either). If someone could just send me the .obj file for Hang "Em High, that would be great. I just need it for a reference so I can get the terrain to the proper scale on a canyon-ish remake of H'EH I'm working on.

Oi I won't be able to save you there.
I tried to do it, but I don't know what to do exactly.

Dont worry - HaloGuru a.k.a. SL1CK1337 already helped me with it.
