View Full Version : [HALO 3] Question about Forge.

I'm trying to create a map varient, but for some reason, I can't get the Assault Rifles to respawn just after I pick them up. I know it's in the summary, but I can't seem to get it right. I've set the run-time minimum to 0, 1, and 2, (there are only 2 ARs in the varient.) but none of them have worked. Any help?

You have to set the Maximum and the Minimum runtimes to be the same.

Maybe that's why. I only messed around with the minimums, not the maximums. I'll edit with the results later...

Now, another question. At one point, I had the teleporters set up so that if you go through one, and out another, but when you go back through the second one, it leads you to the third one. But, it stops working after a little bit. Anyone know how I can set it up so they keep working like that?

The way you're saying it, it sounds like you set it up like Sender > Two-way > Receiver
The thing is, the sender will randomly send you to either the receiver or the two-way; you'd be better off just setting up two sets of teleporters.

What you can do is put two Two-way teleporters. Also, try these, you might learn a thing or two :

Do sender A to receiver A, which will be placed a bit further out into the playing space than sender B (as to not have you walk into it immediately after exiting receiver A) and have Receiver B located where you desire. So As->Ar, Bs->Br, and Ar and Bs located almost next to each other.

Well, that's not really the way I want it to work, although the random teleporting does make gameplay more interesting, now that I think about it...

So, thanks for advice on that, but I'm still having problems making the AR instantly spawn. Why doesn't someone just add me, so we can experiment in Forge. *knows that's going to cost him...*
